Housekeeping Manager

We're seeking a skilled and experienced Housekeeping Manager to lead our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and guest comfort from our pre-opening phase through to normal operations.

You'll be responsible for overseeing all housekeeping and laundry functions, maintaining corporate standards, and leading a dedicated team to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Job Description

Pre-opening:

1) Develop and execute a comprehensive pre-opening plan for housekeeping and laundry.

2) Recruit, interview, and hire all housekeeping and laundry staff.

3) Create and deliver detailed training programs focusing on corporate standards and procedures.

4) Collaborate with the purchasing team to procure all necessary equipment, supplies, and uniforms.

5) Establish par stock levels and set up all storage areas for efficient inventory management.

Normal Operations:
1) Directly supervise and manage the housekeeping and laundry teams, ensuring adherence to corporate standards.

2) Conduct regular inspections of all areas, including guest rooms and public spaces, to maintain quality.

3) Manage linen inventory and laundry operations according to corporate guidelines.

4) Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally, adhering to corporate guest service protocols.

5) Control and analyze the departmental budget, forecasting expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

Qualifications
1) Education: Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field.

2) Experience: A minimum of 5-7 years in a luxury hotel or international environment, with at least 5 years in a similar role. Pre-opening experience is a significant advantage.

3) Skills: Strong people management, leadership, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication in English, organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of budget management.

4) Attributes: Passionate about cleanliness, highly detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and a team player.

5) Must be a Thai national.
