Thai Assistant Cook (Kindergarten)

Location: Phuket, Thailand
School: Oak Meadow International School

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and responsible Assistant Cook to support the preparation and serving of healthy, nutritious meals, snacks, bread, and pastries for our kindergarten students in an international school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist the Cook with preparing and cooking daily meals and snacks for kindergarten students.
* Prepare healthy, nutritious, and age-appropriate meals and snacks.
* Assist with preparing and baking, bread, pastries, muffins, cookies, and other baked goods.
* Help with food preparation, washing, cutting, portioning, and serving.
* Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen and dining area.
* Ensure kitchen equipment, utensils, and food preparation areas are properly cleaned and maintained.
* Safely handle and store food and ingredients.
* Be aware of students' food allergies, dietary requirements, and special meal needs.
* Work cooperatively with teachers and school staff to support students' health and well-being.

Requirements:

* Thai nationality with good communication skills.
* Previous experience in a kitchen, school, kindergarten, restaurant, hotel, or similar environment is preferred.
* Experience making or baking bread, pastries, and other baked goods is an advantage.*
* Experience preparing food for children is an advantage.
* Basic knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
* Friendly, patient, responsible, and reliable.
* Able to work well as part of a team.
* Good attention to cleanliness and detail.
* Basic English communication skills are preferred.
* Food Safety, Baking, or relevant qualifications are an advantage.
