Position: Deputy Head of Primary School
Location: Oak Meadow International School Phuket

Are you an experienced and passionate educator with strong leadership skills?

We’re looking for a dedicated and dynamic Deputy Head of Primary School to support the leadership and development of our Primary School division.

Key Responsibilities
Support the Head of Primary in the leadership and management of the Primary School
Support high standards of teaching, learning, and student achievement
Provide guidance and support to Primary teachers and staff
Monitor teaching quality, lesson planning, assessment, and curriculum implementation
Promote positive student wellbeing, safeguarding, and a supportive school environment
Support classroom management and address student-related concerns when required
Assist with staff development, mentoring, and professional learning
Communicate effectively with parents, students, teachers, and school leadership
Support the organization and coordination of Primary School activities and events
Participate in school meetings, quality assurance initiatives, and other leadership responsibilities
Qualifications

✅ Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
✅ Relevant teaching qualification/certification
✅ Strong experience teaching in a Primary School setting
✅ Previous leadership or coordination experience is highly desirable
✅ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Strong classroom management and organizational skills
✅ Good understanding of child development, safeguarding, and student wellbeing
✅ Ability to work collaboratively within an international school environment
✅ International school experience is an advantage
