We’re Hiring: Middle School Social Studies Teacher

Position: Middle School Social Studies Teacher
Salary: 40,000+++ THB/month (plus ++++ housing stipend)
Location: Oak Meadow International School Phuket

Are you a passionate Social Studies teacher who enjoys inspiring students and creating engaging learning experiences? Are you currently in Phuket/Thailand?

We’re looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Social Studies Teacher to join our international school community!

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging Social Studies lessons for Middle School students
Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, activities, and assessments
Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
Assess and monitor students’ academic progress and provide constructive feedback
Support students in developing critical thinking, research, communication, and analytical skills
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and wellbeing
Participate in school activities, meetings, professional development, and other school events
Maintain accurate student records and contribute to the school’s academic programs

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies, History, Education, or a related field
Teaching qualification/certification is preferred
Previous Middle School teaching experience is an advantage
Strong English communication skills, both spoken and written
Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills
Student-centered and positive approach to teaching
Ability to work collaboratively as part of an international team
International school experience is an advantage
