Job Summary

The Architect oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of design activities for real estate and development projects, ensuring alignment with project goals, regulations, and industry standards. This role manages in-house teams and external consultants, optimizing design efficiency, budgets, and construction feasibility. Responsibilities include value engineering, quality control, and integration of innovative design technologies such as BIM and 3D modelling. The Architect collaborates with projects consultant, marketing, and operations teams to ensure functional, aesthetic, and sustainable design solutions.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to.

• Manage in-house and third-party design consultants and specialty consultants.
• Assist in the development of Project Budgets and ensure that tenders and contracts are in compliance with set budget parameters.
• Administrate and manage all design service-related contracts for compliance on schedule and deliverables.
• Manage and monitor the schedule and project cost budgets during the development and construction phases.
• Prepare regular reports to upper management and direct the continuous updating of project schedule and budgets.
• Suggest and manage value engineering.
• Support the establishment and ensure compliance with the organization’s HSE and QC/QA for all projects.
• Collaborate in the development of innovative projects meeting the company’s vision, economic objectives and demand of the marketplace.
• Support the analysis of development projects for feasibility and of the due diligence process.
• Develop and present design plans, project delivery and support the development and subsequent business plans to stakeholders.
• Develop programs, support the development in the building of leading-edge design, development, construction and operations of projects.
• Implement 3-D Design (REVIT, 3DMax) and ensure full compliance and optimization with BIM.
• Attendance of relevant events and maintenance of a high profile within the industry.
• Assist in the investigation of new and cutting-edge industry building methods and products to provide value and quality to the organization.
• Bench marking and research of similar or related developments.
• Monitoring of relevant industry trends and their potential impact.
