***POSITION SUMMARY***
The Beach Club Manager is responsible for the full day-to-day operations of GOAT Beach Club, ensuring exceptional guest experience, consistent service standards, operational excellence, and optimal financial performance.
This role oversees all operational departments, including service, bar, beach operations, reservations, events, and guest relations.
The manager acts as the on-site leader and is accountable for team performance, cost control, SOP enforcement, complaint resolution, and maintaining the brand DNA of GOAT Beach Club.
They will collaborate closely with the Group GM and assist in executing strategic goals, commercial initiatives, and revenue targets.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Leadership & Daily Management
Oversee daily operations of all beach club areas (restaurant, bar, beach, cabanas, pool, events).
Ensure smooth opening and closing procedures following established SOPs.
Conduct daily briefings for team leaders (FOH Manager, Bar Manager, Beach Supervisor).
Manage staff allocation based on business levels, weather, and forecasts.
Monitor cleanliness, hygiene, and safety across all areas.
Ensure music, ambiance, lighting, and overall atmosphere match the GOAT brand identity.
Conduct floor walks to ensure standards are met and service flow is smooth.
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
Be the main on-site point of contact for VIP guests and high-value customers.
Handle complaints professionally and provide immediate recovery solutions.
Ensure consistent high service standards and staff grooming.
Work with hosts/reservations to maximize table rotation and revenue.
Develop guest experience enhancements (welcome rituals, signature service touches).
Team Leadership & HR Coordination
Manage, coach, and support a multicultural team (20–60 staff depending on season).
Work with HR to support hiring, onboarding, and probation evaluations.
Ensure staff follow Thai labor laws (breaks, working hours, rosters).
Organize weekly trainings with department heads (service, bar, host, beach).
Manage rosters to balance productivity and labor cost targets.
Foster a positive, disciplined, and professional working culture.
Financial & Cost Control Responsibilities
Monitor daily revenue, expenses, and operational KPIs.
Support Group GM in meeting budgeted targets for:
* Labor cost
* Beverage cost
* Food cost
* Wastage
* Operational expenses
Assist in implementing cost-saving strategies without compromising quality.
Review POS voids, discounts, comps, and ensure proper controls.
Assist in developing upselling programs and revenue optimization initiatives.
Inventory & Asset Management
Ensure accurate daily stock control for beach equipment, amenities, uniforms, menus.
Supervise weekly stock counts with Bar Manager & Restaurant Manager.
Monitor maintenance needs (furniture, umbrellas, sound system, lighting).
Safety, Compliance & Maintenance
Enforce safety protocols for beach and pool operations.
Coordinate with maintenance for repairs and preventive maintenance plans.
Ensure compliance with Thai health and safety standards.
Handle incidents and prepare incident reports.
Marketing & Events Support
Work with marketing team to support content creation, activations, and campaigns.
Help plan and execute events: DJs, brunches, private bookings, NYE, weddings.
Ensure operational readiness for high-impact events.
Provide feedback from guests to improve marketing and offerings.
Reporting & Administration
Submit daily operational reports to Group GM:
* Revenue
* Guest counts
* Issues
* Staff performance
Participate in weekly management meetings.
Track guest feedback across Google, IG, TripAdvisor and support reply strategy.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
Experience
3+ years in a leadership role in a beach club, luxury resort, or high-volume restaurant.
Proven experience managing large teams.
Strong understanding of service standards and guest experience.
Skills
Excellent communication in English (Thai is a strong advantage).
Leadership, discipline, and team motivation.
Ability to work under pressure, especially in high season.
Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Good financial understanding (labour %, food & beverage cost).
Strong sense of hospitality and attention to detail.
Personal Attributes
