Responsibilities:

Assist in the preparation and production of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked items

Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications set by the Pastry Chef

Ensure ingredients and supplies are properly measured, stored, and rotated

Maintain cleanliness and organization in the pastry section

Support inventory control and report shortages to the Pastry Chef

Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards

Collaborate with the pastry team to create new menu items and seasonal specials

Requirements:

Previous experience as a Commis Pastry Chef or Demi Pastry Chef (preferred)

Passion for pastry and baking with a creative eye for detail

Basic knowledge of pastry techniques and kitchen equipment

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
