JOB SPECIFICATION:
• Greeting Visitors: Welcome and assist visitors in a professional and courteous manner. Ensure they sign in and are directed to the appropriate person or department.
• Responsible for proper check-in, check-out, and service permanent according to “the service for value“ scripts.
• Responsible for a proper handling of guest profiles by means of the PMS System
• Responsible for a proper processing of reservations by means of the PMS system
• Responsible for a proper processing with all kinds of correspondence
• Responsible for the proper handling of the cash box receipts / supervision of the currency and foreign exchanges considering the national regulations
• Supervision of daily cash register closure, make daily balance checks & correction of daily turnover
• Creation of all daily reports and distribution to all departments
• Responsible for all wake up calls during the shift
• Closure of all credit card terminals
• Ensure there are no discrepancies across any systems, including room status, rates, and no-shows.
• Creation of the “End of day” by means of the Opera
• Managing Phone Calls: Answer incoming calls promptly, direct them to the appropriate department or individual, and handle inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.
• Deal with any special wishes and complaints of guests and ensure that any necessary measures are performed
• Responsible for a proper hand over after the shift
• Participate in trainings within the framework of the Crew Training System
• Responsible for the proper care and maintenance of the material and the installation in
the entire Front Office area
• To inform the Front Office Manager about incidents that affect the area of work
• To become integrated in the overall team and its programs, e.g. participation in shows and evening events
JOB REQUIREMENT:
• Service focused personality is essential
• Previous experience in international hotel, preferably 4/5 star property
• Prior experience working with Opera System
• Strong communication English skill
