Position Purpose
Ensure all payments are posted to the correct ledger and maintain accurate Accounts Payable records and balances.

Key Responsibilities
• Verify invoices, purchased items/services, amounts, and vendor records for accuracy and validity.
• Ensure purchase orders and invoices are properly authorized before processing payments.
• Prepare cheque and bank transfer payments to vendors.
• Record and maintain all Accounts Payable (AP) transactions in the system.
• Prepare and reconcile WHT, VAT, vendor accounts, and payment records.
• Reconcile supplier statements monthly and ensure invoices and credit notes are correctly processed.
• Ensure local and foreign supplier payments are made accurately, on time, and in the correct currency.
• Complete month-end Accounts Payable closing and prepare supporting reports and reconciliations.
• Maintain documents and supporting records for year-end audits.
• Produce accurate account reconciliations and maintain quality work.
• Attend scheduled staff training and follow company safety and OH&S procedures.

Qualifications & Requirements
• Diploma or above in Accounting.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar position.
• Good local and English language skills.
• Good knowledge of accounting practices and Accounts Payable procedures.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Reasonable knowledge of computer systems.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team.
