ตำแหน่ง : Medical and Wellness Director
Key Responsibilities
1. Integrated Wellness Strategy
•Define and execute the resort’s overarching wellness vision, positioning Stay Wellbeing as a destination for longevity, preventive health, and lifestyle transformation.
•Design signature wellness programs (detox, weight management, stress recovery, longevity, anti-aging) that differentiate the resort, drive repeat bookings, and generate ancillary revenue.
•Create unified guest journeys that integrate medical assessments, spa treatments, fitness programming, and nutritional guidance into a single, personalized experience.
•Identify and develop new revenue verticals (e.g., corporate wellness retreats, telemedicine follow-up, membership/subscription models, partnership packages with hospitals or insurance providers).
2. Clinical Governance & Regulatory Compliance
•Ensure the clinic operates in full compliance with Thai Ministry of Public Health regulations, licensing requirements, and relevant healthcare laws.
•Oversee medical protocols, treatment standards, and patient safety frameworks across all clinical services.
•Manage relationships with consulting physicians, visiting specialists, and allied-health professionals.
•Maintain and update SOPs for clinical, spa, and fitness operations; lead internal audits and quality reviews.
3. Operations & Financial Performance
•Own the consolidated P&L across clinic, spa, and fitness; set and deliver revenue targets, manage cost of goods, labor costs, and departmental margins.
•Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and pricing strategies for all wellness services.
•Monitor KPIs including treatment utilization, guest satisfaction scores, therapist productivity, program uptake, and repeat-visit rates.
•Ensure optimal scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory management across all three departments.
4. Team Leadership & Development
•Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of professionals (physicians, spa therapists, fitness coaches, front-of-house wellness staff).
•Recruit, onboard, and retain high-caliber wellness talent; define role requirements and performance standards.
•Build a culture of continuous learning through training programs, certifications, and cross-departmental knowledge sharing.
•Conduct regular performance reviews and succession planning for key wellness positions.
5. Guest Experience & VIP Engagement
•Serve as the resort’s senior wellness authority—conduct one-on-one health consultations, welcome talks, and wellness orientations for arriving guests.
•Personally manage VIP and long-stay wellness guests, ensuring bespoke program design and high-touch follow-up.
•Collaborate with the General Manager and sales/marketing teams to develop wellness-focused packages, seasonal promotions, and trade/media engagement.
•Act as the public face of the resort’s wellness offering at industry events, media opportunities, and partnership forums.

Qualifications
Education & Credentials
• Degree or certified professional qualification in medicine, nursing, physiotherapy, naturopathy, wellness management, or a closely related allied-health discipline.
• Postgraduate qualifications in wellness, public health, integrative medicine, or business management are a strong plus.
• Relevant wellness or spa management certifications (e.g., CIDESCO, ISPA, health coaching ICF) desirable.
Experience
• Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in wellness, medical-wellness, or spa operations, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Demonstrated experience in a luxury wellness resort, destination spa, or premium health retreat (e.g., Chiva-Som, RAKxa, Kamalaya, Six Senses, COMO Shambhala, Soneva).
• Proven P&L ownership across multiple wellness departments (clinic + spa + fitness preferred).
• Track record of designing and launching wellness programs that drove measurable revenue and guest satisfaction outcomes.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary teams of 20+ across clinical, therapeutic, and fitness disciplines.
