Key Responsibilities & Duties
Supervision & Leadership: Lead, train, and supervise technicians, shift engineers, and maintenance staff during the shift.
Operational Maintenance: Monitor and maintain all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, including HVAC, boilers, chillers, and water treatment plants (STP/WTP).
Emergency Response: Act as the first responder to emergency maintenance breakdowns, coordinating immediate repairs with minimal disruption to guests.
Preventive Maintenance (PM): Ensure that scheduled preventive maintenance tasks are completed on time to prevent equipment failure.
Guest & Property Inspection: Conduct regular rounds to inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas for maintenance issues.
Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with fire, safety, health, and environmental regulations, including proper operation of fire alarms and emergency systems.
Documentation: Review daily shift logs, maintenance reports, and update work order systems.
Contractor Management: Supervise minor projects or work carried out by external contractors to ensure compliance with hotel standards.
