KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Tracking & Control: Monitor stock levels, track movements, and ensure accuracy through regular audits and physical counts.
Logistics & Receiving: Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments, ensuring quality and quantity match purchase orders.
System Maintenance: Update inventory databases, spreadsheets, or ERP systems with accurate stock data.
Reporting: Prepare reports on inventory performance, including turnover ratios, shortages, and aging stock.
Optimization: Implement measures to prevent overstocking or stockouts.
Compliance & Safety: Maintain organized, clean storage areas and ensure compliance with safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIRED SKILLS

Experience: Usually 1–3+ years in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics.
Education: HND/BSc in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and inventory management software.
Analytical Abilities: Strong mathematical and analytical skills for data analysis and reporting.
Communication: Effective communication skills for interacting with suppliers, procurement, and team members.
Physical Stamina: Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting or operating warehouse equipment, if required.
