1 Recruitment & Onboarding
• Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from job posting to hiring including international hiring processes.
• Oversee full cycle of work permits, visas and related government documentation for expatriate staff.
• Ensure hiring processes attract high-calibre educators and staff aligned with the school’s vision and values.
• Oversee onboarding and cultural orientation to integrate new hires into both the school and Phuket community.
2 Employee relations & engagement
• Act as a trusted point of contact for employee concerns, feedback and conflict resolution.
• Foster a respectful, collaborative and inclusive environment for a multicultural workforce.
• Conduct regular engagement surveys and follow up with action plans
3 Performance Management & Development
• Manage performance appraisal processes, providing training and guidance to academic and non- academic
staff.
• Partner with Head of each department to identify training needs and arrange professional development
opportunities.
• Identify skill gaps and design learning and career development programs.
• Support leadership development and succession planning in academic and administrative roles.
• Organise team- building events and initiatives to strengthen staff relationships and morale.
4 Compensation, Benefits & Compliance
• Oversee benefits administration with accuracy and timeliness.
• Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend adjustments.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws workplace safety regulations and internal policies.
5 Culture & Wellbeing
• Champion the organization’s value and embed them into daily operations.
• Lead diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.
• Organise wellness, recodnition and social programs to strengthen community.
6 HR Administration & Reporting
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee records.
• Manage HR systems and databases for efficiency and accuracy.
• Prepare regular reports and insights.
7 Supervision of HR Officer
• Provide coaching, guidance and ongoing professional development for the HR Officer.
• Ensure the HR Officer delivers high- quality support in areas such as recruitment including international hiring
process, recordkeeping and employee communications.
Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of Thai labor law, international recruitment and visa/ work permit processes.
• Proven leadership and team supervision skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and cross- cultural communication abilities.
• Ability to balance operational efficiency with people- focused initiatives.
• High emotional intelligence diplomacy and cultural sensitivity.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of HR management experience, ideally in an international school, education sector or
hospitality industry.
• Experience in managing expatriate staff recruitment and relocation.
• Proven track record in supervising HR team members.
• Fluency in English required
• Thai nationality only
