We are seeking an experienced and passionate **Executive Chef** to lead our growing restaurant group in Phuket. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with extensive expertise in Western cuisine, strong kitchen management skills, and the ability to maintain exceptional food quality while driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and oversee all kitchen operations across assigned outlets.
* Develop, improve, and standardize Western menus, recipes, and plating presentations.
* Ensure consistency in food quality, taste, portioning, and presentation across all branches.
* Control food costs, labor costs, wastage, and kitchen productivity to achieve business targets.
* Create and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for kitchen operations.
* Manage purchasing, supplier relationships, inventory control, and stock rotation (FIFO).
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
* Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate chefs and kitchen staff.
* Schedule kitchen manpower efficiently to meet operational needs.
* Conduct regular kitchen audits and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
* Introduce seasonal menus, new dishes, and innovative food concepts.
* Work closely with Operations and Management to support business growth and new restaurant openings.
* Monitor customer feedback and continuously improve food quality and guest satisfaction.
* Oversee kitchen equipment maintenance and recommend investments when necessary.
* Prepare operational reports, food cost analysis, and performance reports for management.
Qualifications
* Minimum *10 years of professional experience* in Western cuisine.
* Minimum *3–5 years of experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or Executive Sous Chef* in a hotel, restaurant group, or high-volume restaurant.
