Job Description
Position: Safety Officer (จป.วิชาชีพ)
Location: Phuket, Thailand
Department: Construction / Safety
Employment Type: Full-Time

>> Key Responsibilities
1.Monitor and control safety operations at the construction site.
2. Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety laws, regulations, and company policies.
3. Conduct regular safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard analysis.
4. Prepare and implement safety plans, emergency response plans, and safety procedures.
5. Organize safety training, toolbox meetings, and safety awareness activities.
6. Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases, including preparing reports and corrective actions.
7. Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors regarding safety requirements.
8. Inspect personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure proper usage on site.
9. Prepare safety documentation and reports for management and government authorities.
10. Monitor work permits and high-risk activities such as working , lifting operations, and confined space work.
11. Promote safety culture and ensure all workers follow site safety standards.

>> Qualifications & Requirements
1. Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health, or related field.
2. Certified Professional Safety Officer (จป.วิชาชีพ) according to Thai legal requirements.
3. Minimum 3 years of experience in construction site safety management.
4. Strong knowledge of Thai occupational safety laws and construction safety standards.
5. Experience conducting safety inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
6. Good communication and coordination skills.
7. Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities.
8. Proficient in Microsoft Office and report preparation.
9. Ability to work independently and under pressure.
10. Good command of English communication is preferred.
